A memorable experience: The Metal Fest 2013

Hello, This post is the last of the year, although I am happy for this reason, the topic in this case is very interesting to me, because I like much to listen live music and the atmosphere of a concert. In this year I have been in a few concerts,  I remember about three: Black Sabbath, Alice In Chains, and The Metal Fest 2013. I have to say that all of them were very good experiences, and they had a quite defined live sound. If I have to choose one this is the last, because it was a special occasion to hear many different and important international bands of Rock and Metal music. In this opportunity I could to listen classic icons like Twisted Sister, a pioneer in the Heavy Metal history, Sodom one of the first bands of european Trash Metal, Carcass and Morbid Angel who have defined the sound of extreme styles such as Death and Grindecore genres. The site where the festival took place was Movistar Arena, which has a good acoustic and capacity to this kind of cultural events. This festival lasted two days, in April saturday 13th and sunday 14th, so the audience had long time to see many shows and different bands, it was the centre of meeting to metalheads and black t-shirts guys. The first day I went with a friend who didn't know so much about this kind of music, and it was funny to see him wearing ordinary clothes among the black mass, and the next day I got together with a classmate of the university and his friends, so I had a good time with them. It was special for me because I could see many important musical bands for me, and I listened to shows that I thought I could never live.

One thing I like very much: The music

Hello, I am Maximiliano anew, this time the post I have to write is about a free topic that it would be interesting to me for show to others. Well, several matters I like to talk, but one of the most I am interested is about something I enjoy very much, this is about the music.  I like listen to music in many moments, at everywhere and alone or with someone. I think the music is something very important to the people and even in the develop to the humankind, because it is a expression of the feelings of a person, a society, a particular culture or a global community. It is a activity of artists who dedicate to compose score, play instruments and/or sing letters of songs, but the common people too can enjoy and contribute to the musical creation through their activities, works and life histories, which inspire or are source of life for themes in which it creates music. Well, I have written much about my ideas of music and its value to our life, because that is my opinion, but is time to talk about some elements, or the concrete genres of the whole variety of kinds of compositions in the field of music. For me there are several and various good musical genres, some of them have an old tradition as classical music, others have new origins as rock music, other have old cause and modern elements as jazz, and there is the folk music with ancient elements of one traditional  determined culture. The music I most like is rock, but also I enjoy with other genres like jazz, blues, folk and even the some classical pieces.

Who is the greatest person in Chile?

I am not sure who is the most important person in Chilean history, it brings to my memory some names like presidents, artists, scientists, famous peoples and other more. But I have to choose one of them, so I think Violeta Parra is one of the women important, especially to Arts of Chile. She was an artist of the twentieth century in this country, she worked like composer, musician, folklorist and in other areas of traditions and popular customs. She was born in 1917 in a town of the south central Chile, then at age around 14 years she went to Santiago to study, but she left the school with the intention to dedicate to sing in different scenaries. With the pass of years she was mother of four children, two of them: Isabel and Angel, some time later were importants musicians of national folklore like was Violeta. Her work is known in many countries on the world, an example in 1964 she exposed at Louvre Museum in Paris with her visuals works, the first Latin American woman who did it, and she wrote many songs which times after were listened abroad.
She had a love with a foreign man who left her, and according the popular words maybe for this reason she took her life in 1967. I would like to ask her, if possible, why she decided to do that action. About her legacy, she revived and compiled much of popular traditions of the rural places in Chile expressed in the music, about that the most famous of Violeta's songs is Gracias a la Vida, which has been played by many national and international artists.

The pet I had

Hello!, I had many pets in past years, but nowadays I don't have any. Two of them were dogs, they were Saint Bernards, this breed of dogs is very friendly and loving, but also they are very strong and fierce. The older one was Arnold and it was the father of the other, Silver. My family bought the first in 1995 around when it was a puppy, I still can remember how Arnold was in these times, it looked like a hair ball and was very beautiful and fearful, I remember it did piss in everywhere. In these years I lived in a house of neighborhood so Arnold had little space to move inside home, so at weekends my father let out it of the house, and they walked on the street of our neighborhood, when it happened the people gave caress to my dog. Arnold liked to have fun with people. With the pass of the years Arnold grew and I can say it was the most beautiful Saint Bernard I have ever seen, and then it mated with other dog of the same breed, and the couple had many offspring, one of them was Silver. After that, my family  moved on other place to live, these house had a bigger garden, there our dogs could move and walk more comfortable, but they couldn't  leave of the house because in the outside there were other fierce dogs. About Silver I can say that it was very power and fast, unlike others St. Bernards it looked very athletic, and it liked run with me or other member of the family. Then they grew older and became more quiet, so when were old dogs died at twelve and eleven years old, first died Arnold and the next year was the turn of Silver. I loved them and sometimes I feel sadness for their absence.

A good friend

Well, I don't have many friends, but I have one that he is a close friend and I can say about him that he is a good person. My friend's name is Carlos, and we met in the primary school, when we were thirteenth years around. Since then each one has been knowing to other as classmate, and with the pass of years more like human being. Carlos is a languaje teacher, he studied at Universidad de Santiago de Chile, and nowadays he is working in a municipal school, teaching to children or better said teenagers. About the things what we have in common, I think they would be the point of view of the social topics, the thinking about the humanity, our philosophy of life, and even in some aspects the apreciation of nature and ancestral values of ancient and aboriginal cultures. Nowadays we don't get together very often, because both he or I are busy in our respective tasks, so when the two have free time we meet and share our experiences. I like talk to him about any matter and even we entertain only doing that, speaking about his work, the dialy life, politics, music, our problems, our future expectatives and hopes, the activities we are doing and what we have done in the past, things like funny comments and interesting conversations, I think when we meet the time pass fast, so these moments are relaxed and I can take a break in my routine and share with a good friend.

The importance of the language in our lives

In the daily life we use the language as a means of communication. All things of the life are expressed with it, from the basic needs, ideas, thinking, activities,scientific knowledge, feels, etc. I think the language is determining to the life styles in the culture, society, politics, and all another aspects of the human being. In the evolution of the humanity the language was the factor that developed the ability to made complex abstraction as ideas, thoughts and symbols, which allow us communicate to each others. Because this reason the Homo sapiens passed  from animal to human, this is it was the line between nature and culture, and this element is essential to persons to be able to do many difficult, complicated and big things like buildings, theories, all kind of works and ideas.

I use the Spanish as native language, I think it is a very expressive and elaborated, with many aspects by knowing, and you could be a lifetime studying it if you want to learn whole the Spanish. In short, my experience with it is positive, because I have learnt many different matters and topics studying by this language, due many books and other texts have been written with it. In the other hand, about the Chilean aspects, our language allow us communicate to other south american people, but at the same time it can be differentiate of the foreing people, because the idiomatic expressions are particular of specific country, even in same geographical territory of one country you can find differences of the words and to speak, for example in the case of Chile, in where you have different expression in the north in comparison to the south.

The beach that I would like to be now

I like the beach of the city Antofagasta, capital of the second region of Chile, in the north of this country, at its coastal. I have gone to this beach twice in my life, the first when I was a child around 6 to 7 years old, and second when I was 16 years old, and in this moment I enjoyed the temperature of the water in this beach, because I think it is warmer than the temperature of water in the beaches of the center regions of Chile like Viña del Mar's beach and other near to this place. When I was in Antofagasta's beach I bathed in the sea until the evening, swimming and doing things that you only can do in water as well as ride out the waves.

The landscape of this beach is not so idyllic like the beaches of the Caribbean countries since the sand on the ground is not white as the light sand on other places, neither the colour of water is as clear as turquoise sea on these foreign beaches, but in comparison to the other shores in national areas I chose the Antofagasta's shore with its warm beach. One thing about this place is that it was built with human workforce, at least the marine buttress of this beach, and the coastal is a building of the construction activity and plans of the administrative authorities of the town. 

In summary I recommend this beach to spend the holidays in a place of Chile
