Bronislaw Malinowski was a Anthropologist, one of the most important of the 20th century.
He was born in Poland, 1984 and died in USA, 1942. He was the founder of British Social Anthropology from methodological renewal based on personal experience of fieldwork and functional consideration of culture. His family came from an upper middle class he was an excellent student.
He studied philosophy at the Jagiellonian University, where he devoted himself to physics and mathematics. In the past and his time as a student became ill, having to travel to europe for health reasons. Then, he graduated as Doctor of science in Anthropology.  He was a example of dedication and work for the discipline.
He was a ethnographer that studied the Melanesians through participant observation and wrote the book: Argonauts of the Western Pacific, wich was published in 1922, with this he was recognized throughout the world and it was widely regarded as a Masterpiece and essential reading for the Anthropologist
